BinjaiTree Community Engagement Award
As part of a gift arrangement with BinjaiTree, the BinjaiTree Community Engagement Award recognises and celebrates the student's active engagement in service-learning, community engagement, and advocacy leadership.
Recipients are selected from the pool of students who receive a Pass with Distinction grade in the Service-Learning/Community Engagement graduation requirements, and who meet the following additional criteria:
- Sustained engagement with community(ies) of at least 2 years
- Project was well executed, with highly positive feedback from community partner(s)
- Demonstration of application(s) of student's personal strengths and/or skills to community projects
Each award is capped at $1,000, and the recipient may donate all or part of his/her award to a charity or a community partner of their choice.
