Synopsis
CHS212 sheds light on the basic theories and concepts of Chinese linguistics, including phonetics, lexicology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics thinking, etc. Through this course, students will have a general knowledge of linguistics, and through the acquired knowledge, they will deepen their understanding of the Chinese language and enhance their ability to examine and analyze language phenomena in society.
