Monday, 17 Feb 2025 | 7:00pm to 9:00pm | Gold Medal Secrets: A Dialogue Session with SEA Games Gold Medalist Calvin Sim Calvin Sim is a Singapore cycling icon who has achieved peak performance in the various domains of his life, winning a historic gold medal for track cycling in 2017 SEA Games. Come and hear Calvin share about his life journey and how he achieved peak performance in the different stages of his life. He will share about how to build resilience, cope with stress, and cultivate physical/mental strategies for peak performance. The lessons that he shares will not be limited to the sporting domain, but will be applicable to work, studies, and other domains as well. During the session, you will be given the opportunity to interact with Calvin and ask him questions pertaining to peak performance. Read more about Calvin:Calvin defied the odds with his historic gold medal for track cycling in the 2017 SEA Games, becoming the first male track cyclist in more than 20 years to win a gold medal for Singapore. He was also the recipient of the prestigious SPEX scholarship, which allowed him to train full-time and pursue his cycling dreams. He is currently a Youth Development Pathway Coach with the Singapore Cycling Federation, where he helps to nurture the next generation of young cyclists in Singapore. *A light buffet reception will be provided before the start of the dialogue.
