Sherry Sim (SUSS Work-Study Degree (WSDeg) in Bachelor of Accountancy graduate) was one of the notable SUSS graduates we have hired, as she is independent, energetic, meticulous, and adaptable.

Sherry was the main person in charge of the Revenue and Credit Management team for MPA’s Project Cumulus (a Whole-of-Government project to onboard our centralised HR & Finance system). She pulled together team members for the project and worked well with internal partners (IT colleagues) and external partners (Accountant-General’s Department and external consultant). While independent, she was also able to seek guidance or escalate issues timely. Despite the challenging project timeline of 10 months, she was resilient and committed to the work, and she completed the assigned tasks within the stipulated timeline with quality results. Aside from work, Sherry brings her positive energy to the organisation through her contributions to non-work engagements, such as Divisional activities.

Because of our positive work experience with SUSS students since 2019, we will continue hiring them, and encourage other employers to do the same.
