Notable cases worked on:
- Committee of Inquiry into the Cyberattack on SingHealth – Appeared as
part of team of State Counsel led by Solicitor General Kwek Mean Luck which
led evidence before
the COI to unravel the largest data breach in Singapore’s history. Undertook extensive research into cybersecurity issues, conducted interviews and investigations into
the facts of the breach, led evidence from witnesses in court, and was heavily involved writing of the recommendations and report. - PP v P Mageswaran [2019] SGCA 22 – Court of Appeal case in which the Prosecution appealed against the sentence of a man who had brutally strangled an elderly lady to death and made away with her valuables.
- PP v Tay Wee Kiat & Chia Yun Ling [2018] SGHC 42 – High Court set out sentencing benchmarks for maid abuse cases and guidance on compensation orders.
- PP v Zhou Haiming & Luo Jianguo [2017] 4 SLR 247 – High Court allowed Prosecution appeal and enhanced sentence for two foreigners who stole over $100,000 from the casinos.
- ST Marine Corruption Cases (PP v Ong Teck Liam, PP v Tan Mong Seng, PP v See Leong Teck) – A series of cases in which senior officials of ST Marine were prosecuted for paying out bribes (approximately SGD $24.9 million between 2000 – 2011) and covering up the bribes by falsifying entertainment expense claims.
