The Singapore Academy of Law Undergraduate Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to deserving new law students.
Who is Eligible?
- New law students who are eligible for government tuition grant in the Bachelor of Laws and Juris Doctor programmes;
- Singapore citizen with good academic and co-curricular activities records, active participation in community service and possess strong language skills;
- Monthly household Per Capita Income (PCI) of S$4,300 or lower.
Tenure of Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded for the minimum period required to complete the Bachelor of Laws (4.5 years) or Juris Doctor (4 years) programme.
Value of Scholarship
The scholarship award will cover 100% of the tuition fees (including tuition grant) plus living allowances of $10,000 per year that the student is supported for under the award. There is no bond attached to the scholarship.

How to Apply?
Application period: 1 August – 15 September
To apply for the award, you need to submit your application online by the stipulated closing date.
For prospective students, you must submit your admission e-application first before submitting your application for the award.
Previously unsuccessful candidates need not re-apply. Candidates will be notified of the application outcome via email by end December.
The decision of Singapore Academy of Law is final and binding, and no reasons will be given for the non-selection of unsuccessful candidates. No appeals will be entertained.
The Tan Hee Joek Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students in the Bachelor of Laws and Juris Doctor programmes offered by the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
Eligibility Criteria
- Singapore citizen or Permanent Resident with impressive academic and co-curricular activities records, strong language skills, and demonstrable leadership qualities;
- Monthly household income per capita (PCI) does not exceed S$4,300; and
- Minimum CGPA of 3.5
Tenure of Scholarship
The tenure of this scholarship is one academic year. There is no bond attached to the scholarship.
Value of Scholarship
Each scholarship is S$7,500 and will be used within the awarded academic year (2 semesters) to offset the recipient's tuition fees.

To apply, you need to submit your e-application together with the supporting documents by the stipulated closing date. Applications without supporting documents will be deemed as incomplete and will not be processed.
Only successful candidates shall be notified via email by end November. The decision of the Student Awards Committee of SUSS is final and binding, and no reason will be given for the non-selection of unsuccessful candidates. No appeal will be entertained.
The Irene Tan Liang Kheng Scholarship for Law aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students in the Bachelor of Laws and Juris Doctor programmes offered by the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
Who is Eligible?
You should be a Singapore citizen with impressive academic and co-curricular activities records, strong language skills, and demonstrable leadership qualities. New students must separately seek admission to the programme and must be accepted for admission before being considered for the scholarship.

The scholarship is awarded for the minimum period required to complete the Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor programme.
Value of Scholarship
The scholarship award will cover 100% of the tuition fees (including tuition grant) capped at S$50,000 per student. There is no bond attached to the scholarship.
