Provides strategic guidance, ensuring growth, good governance, and alignment with the university’s mission. Comprising distinguished leaders from various fields, the Board plays a crucial role in shaping the university’s direction and upholding the highest standards of governance.

Ms Tinku Gupta was appointed Chief Information Officer of Singapore Exchange (SGX Group) in October 2023. In her role, she leads the operations, market services and technology units, supporting SGX Group’s ambitions to serve the entire capital structure and provide greater access to an ever-widening range of asset classes.

Building on the successes of the operations and market services, and technology teams, Tinku also steers the group’s continued progress towards increased automation and efficiency in delivering upgraded services to the customers.

Tinku joined SGX Group in 1996 as a software developer in what was then known as SIMEX. She has held a variety of roles in Business and Technology functions, most recently as Chief Technology Officer where she led the future-proofing of SGX Group’s technology capabilities and the building of differentiated platforms to support its multi-asset class strategy.

Tinku previously headed the Business Integration and Programme Management function and also ran the Market Data and Connectivity business, before returning to lead the Technology unit in 2015.

In addition to her role at SGX Group, Tinku is a member of the boards of Singapore University of Social Sciences and Singapore Institute of Management.  Tinku holds a Masters’ degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering.
