Provides strategic guidance, ensuring growth, good governance, and alignment with the university’s mission. Comprising distinguished leaders from various fields, the Board plays a crucial role in shaping the university’s direction and upholding the highest standards of governance.

Agnes joined the Singapore University of Social Sciences (then SIM University) in 2006. Prior to her appointment as Registrar of the university, she helmed the position of Director, Student and Alumni Relations from 2006 to 2009 and thereafter as Director of Academic Services in 2010. In addition to her role as Registrar in 2019, Agnes was holding the position of Director of Academic Services in the same year.

In both her Director’s portfolios with the university, Agnes was responsible for overseeing the provision of student support, alumni relations and academic services particularly in the areas of student call centre, organisation of university-wide events like student orientation and convocation ceremonies, associates management, curriculum and examination administration, student records management, facilities planning and scheduling of classes.

Prior to joining SUSS, Agnes has spent 12 years in the Nanyang Technological University as Assistant Director of International Relations. Her responsibilities then involved managing and facilitating international collaborations as well as student exchanges and overseas immersion programmes for the university.

Agnes graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Social Work and Mathematics.
